Vice President Nangolo Mbumba wants to see local art promoted and popularised, proposing that provision be made for this in the tourism board's budget. Mbumba was speaking at a dinner for the Arts Summit of Southern Africa. He emphasised that government will continue to create a conducive environment in which individuals and communities can pursue their artistic talents.
