There has been a slight decrease in the number of people who are food insecure compared to more than half a million recorded five years ago. This is contained in the latest assessment conducted three months ago. It is against this background, that United Nations' World Food Programme (UNWFP) and Government officials are meeting for a two-day consultative meeting in the capital as they work to accelerate the journey towards Zero hunger in the country by 2030.
