There is a need to broaden society's knowledge on the vital role geoscience plays on a daily basis in the lives of ordinary people, the use of resources and the socio-economic development of Namibia. It's for this reason that the Ministry of Mines and Energy through the Geological Survey of Namibia together with its stakeholders are hosting a one-week workshop for nbc radio media practitioners on geoscience and geoscientific issues in Windhoek.
