Young women, including young girls, are losing their lives from having backstreet abortions performed on them. Retired fertility Doctor, Matti Kimberg who attended to some of these traumatising cases says unwanted pregnancies often led to blocked fallopian tubes, damaged uteruses and psychological trauma. Dr Kimberg was speaking at the public hearings on the petitions to legalise or not to legalise abortion.
