The FNB Women's Super league has been seeing some competitive action since last month.

NBC Sport Producer Janneth !Gaoses caught up with the Women's Football Association's Chairperson Monica Shapwa to talk about ongoing developments.

The Women's Super League successfully kicked off about a month ago, after securing a staggering 7,5 million Namibia dollars for a period of three years. Women's Football Association chair Monica Shapwa says that the league is progressing well and that the level of competition among the teams is at an all-time high.

She believes that the massive sponsorship from FNB Namibia will positively drive their agenda to propel women's football in the country to greater heights.

As Beauties FC is currently topping the log with 9 points, Shapwa concluded that a cup competition will also be hosted at the beginning of the next football season.
