The Philippines is planning to open an Honorary Consulate in Namibia to complement the work of its diplomatic mission in Pretoria, South Africa.

Its Ambassador to Namibia, Noralyn Jubaira Baja, revealed this when she presented her letter of credence to President Hage Geingob at State House.

Other non-resident Heads of Mission also pledged to elevate commercial ties with Namibia.
