On Wednesday, the Army Provost Battalion football team won a match against the 26 Brigade at a well-contested event at the Embadu Stadium during the ongoing NDF games.

The ongoing NDF annual sports games that started last weekend in Oshakati have seen eight sports codes on offer at three different locations.

One of them is the Embadu Stadium, where an exciting football match between the Army Provost Battalion and the 26 Brigade took place.

At the stadium, Ian Tjizoo, the Windhoek-based Army Provost Battalion coach, praised his players for controlling the match from the beginning to the end to win the game.

Meanwhile, at the same event, Simon Mwadhina, the coach of the 26 Brigade team from Grootfontein, was disappointed with his team's loss.

The eighth edition of the annual NDF sports games is expected to end this Friday with the finals in all competitions and sports codes.
