The Eshoke Chula Chula football team is currently in training at the Ponhofi Secondary School's sports field in preparation for the start of the premier league season. After hosting trials a month ago, the team selected seven new players to join their ranks. These selected players will undergo rigorous training to familiarize themselves with the team's style of play.

Coach John Sikerete expressed satisfaction with the players he acquired from the trials, stating that they possess the potential to make valuable contributions to the existing squad. NBC Sport recently visited Eshoke at their training grounds in the Ohangwena region to report on their preparations.

According to Coach Sikerete, this is the early stage of preparation where all teams are getting ready for the upcoming season. It is the second week of training, and the players have just returned from their holiday break. The coach emphasized the importance of assessing their fitness, health, and overall well-being after their time off.

Team captain Tobias Nangaku also expressed his team's readiness and excitement for the forthcoming season. He assured Eshoke supporters that they are fully prepared and determined to perform well in their first two games during the opening weekend. Captain Nangaku added that the team aims to reach the level of more established teams in the league.
