Former Brave Warriors goalkeeper and current Assistant Coach Ronie Kanalelo is set to return to Botswana on September 18th for the second phase of the Confederation of African Football Licence a Course. The first phase of the CAF A Licence Course took place in Botswana from August 21st to August 28th, with Kanalelo, who is also the UNAM Head Coach, in attendance.

In an interview with NBC Sport, Kanalelo expressed his commitment to furthering his qualifications as a coach. He stated that the CAF A License is just the beginning of his journey and that he aims to obtain the highest possible qualification, the Pro-License. Kanalelo emphasized the importance of acquiring these qualifications in order to thrive in the modern game.

Despite being offered a job in Tanzania, Kanalelo declined in order to fully dedicate himself to the CAF A Course and his duties with the Brave Warriors. His loyalty to the nation was evident in his decision.

The CAF A Licence Course is conducted in five phases over a period of four months and is scheduled to conclude on December 18th, 2023.
