Competitors are in full preparation mode for the National Skills Competition scheduled to take place from the 25th to the 30th of this month at Ongwediva.

There is a hive of activities at the Ongwediva Trade Fair Centre as all fourteen trade participants prepare for the competition.

They are perfecting their skills and stations to make sure a win is guaranteed.

Emilia Lidker, a trainer in clothing production, says the fashion industry is diverse and creates employment for many.

She further says that a platform such as this creates an opportunity to showcase the importance of the trade.

The National Skills Competition event is in preparation for the 47th World Skills Competition to be held next year in France.
