One of the highlights of the boxing bonanza was the bantamweight bout between Joster Shimbashike and Elias Amukoto. The match started with intense exchanges of hard-hitting punches.

"This was very nice and I enjoyed it, it was not easy but I made it easy my game plan it was to finish the game early not to go for three rounds but to finish the game early, round one or round two it's done. I feel like a king now because since I started going in the regional team I never got defeated so I'm trying to get tough opponents from outside like Erongo, Khomasâ"

Shimbashike proved to be a formidable opponent, delivering devastating body punches that slowed down Amukoto. Ultimately, Shimbashike emerged as the clear winner through a technical knockout. Another standout performance came from Michael Kamatima of the VH Boxing and Fitness Academy, who faced off against Zetuna Tjatjitua, the Otjozondjupa regional bantamweight champion.

"It was a very beautiful night I mean a very spectacular events performances we have quite a lot of talent around here so we basically as an institution as a corporate institution we decided to actually invest"

Kamatima fought like a fierce tiger, circling his opponent and landing powerful jabs. Tjatjitua acknowledged Kamatima's skill and expressed disappointment over his reduced weight. CENORED, the main sponsor of the boxing bonanza, expressed their satisfaction with the event and their support for sports in the region. They emphasized the need for more sponsorship to further develop boxing in the area.

"It was a bit difficult because the guy was also a bit skillful, I reduced the weight it's not the weight that I usually fight in that's why I got the problem as well also. The game plan is just for me to remain in the same weight that I am now, improve in the fitness and the skill that I need for me to get back on top"

The event was a resounding success, drawing a crowd of enthusiastic boxing lovers. The VH Boxing and Fitness Academy remains committed to elevating boxing in the region and providing youth with constructive activities that positively impact their lives.
