The Ae //Gams Sport Club, in partnership with Let's Talk psychologists, recently hosted a mental health awareness run in Windhoek. Taking place on a Saturday in October, which is recognized globally as Mental Health Awareness Month, the event provided a platform for people of all ages to participate in 5 and 10km walks and runs, promoting the importance of physical and mental well-being.
After the event, Peter-Jack De Klerk, the secretary of the Ae//Gams Sport Club, spoke about the event's significance and confirmed its successful achievement of its goals. He emphasized how events like these inspire individuals and remind them that support is available.
