Public enterprises play a vital role in developing economies as they provide essential public services and contribute to economic development and industrialization.

The merger of the Ministry of Public Enterprises with the Ministry of Finance has presented a significant challenge in the implementation of various laws and regulations.

As a result, the conference aimed to address these challenges and provide a platform for sharing best practices and experiences in performance improvement, fiscal risk management, board effectiveness, leadership, and overall reform of public enterprises.

One of the highlights of the workshop is the sharing of best practises among enterprises and navigating solutions for areas that are falling short.
