Bello Mosiru, a Junior Table Tennis instructor, expressed his delight and satisfaction with the performance of the players during a recent training program held in Windhoek.

The training program, which was part of the ITTF Africa Hopes Challenge, proved to be a tremendous success.

The final day of the event took place at the DHPS Hall in Windhoek, where junior table tennis players from Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, and Zimbabwe gathered for an intensive training program.

This program, organized under the ITTF High Performance & Development department's talent identification project, aimed to bring together players and coaches from around the world.

Hosted by the Namibia Table Tennis Association, the training program formed part of the International Table Tennis Federation's Southern Africa Hopes Challenge.

Coaches from the participating countries were thrilled to witness the significant improvement in the children's skills and abilities throughout the training sessions, which were expertly conducted by Bello Mosiru from Nigeria.

As a result of their exceptional performance, the top three athletes will be selected to represent their countries in the African Table Tennis Championships next year.

The host country for the championships is yet to be announced.

The training program spanned from Sunday to Friday afternoon, providing under 12 tennis players from the four participating countries with a valuable opportunity to enhance their table tennis skills and compete at a higher level.
