The President of the Namibia Chess Federation, Goodwill Khoa, said 2023 was a year filled with hard work, despite the inconveniences it brought.
Khoa shared this information during a discussion with sport producer Victorine Kaaronda, where they also explored what lies ahead in 2024.
The Namibia Chess Federation wrapped up the year in style by hosting the inaugural Annual Chess Awards on December 12th, followed by a chess tournament in Swakopmund.
With numerous opportunities for travel and participation in international competitions, the Chess Federation President considers this year to be a success.
Khoa reflected on the ups and downs encountered in 2023, and expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming year.
He revealed that the federation is determined to reach new heights in 2024, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
