Ongos collected maximum points over the weekend, after beating Young Brazilians 3-0  in Windhoek today. This is after they also beat Khomas NAMPOL with the identical score on Friday night.

Ongos are a different team under coach Father Elemu who joined them recently as they continued with their good form of late by thrashing Young Brazilians 3-0 to ensure their grip on the title.

The win secured them 6 points, 6 goals and 2 clean sheets over the  weekend, as they moved away from the chasing pack.

Another title contenders Khomas Nampol were dealt a second blow this weekend  as they suffered a 2-0 defeats to Young African at Gobabis to end the weekend winless, and dent their own title ambitions in the process.

At Okahandja, the home team Okahandja United stole the limelight with a slim 1-0 victory against the inconsistent Mighty Gunners who  are slowly  falling down the pecking order.

Bottom club Life Fighters settled for a 1-1 home draw against  Juninho Sporting at Otjiwarongo, while struggling Orlando Pirates saved their face with another 0-0 draw this weekend against  Civics.
