March 4 marks the beginning of the academic year at International Training College, Lingua.

Established in 2001 with 50 students in its first year, Lingua initially functioned as a language school.

Over a thousand students from Lingua filled the hall in eagerness, looking forward to a new academic year with hope.

From humble beginnings, International Training College Lingua has evolved into a comprehensive educational institution.

Today, the college boasts a wide array of programmes across various departments and a hall full of students excited to begin their academic year.

The Academic Head of International Lingua Training College, Dr. Munyaradzi Maravanyiko, addressed the students.

"Let us make it our guiding principle as we embark on this academic year. Let's try for wisdom in all that we do, knowing that wisdom comes understanding, and with understanding comes the power to share a brighter future for generations to come."

A former student at Lingua, Adriano Visagie, addressed the college students on life choices and the importance of finding purpose in life.

"I was also a student not too long ago from Khomasdal who perhaps questioned my purpose in what I contribute to this country and what my purpose would be moving forward, and then I said to myself, There's a purpose for all of us, you can be from Khomasdal, Katutura, or the North, and there were three things that I would like to share with you today. Someone might be inspired today. Know who you are and why I am doing this.

As the academic year kicked off, Lingua reaffirmed its dedication to providing a dynamic learning environment that fosters intellectual growth, innovation, and professional development among its students.
