On Saturday morning, the Namibian Football Association's First Division games were played at the DTS Sports Field in Windhoek. Mariental Football Club, who traveled from the Hardap Region in the South, faced the Windhoek-based team, Ramblers.

In the First Division, Mariental FC is currently 2nd in the league standings.

As all the leagues in the country started as scheduled for the weekend, some First Division Football League matches were played in the capital.

On Saturday, Ramblers, currently in the 10th position in the league, faced off against Mariental Football Club.

Ramblers and Mariental FC drew in the first half before the NBC Sports crew proceeded to the next venue for coverage.

Both teams aimed to collect maximum points as they still had one more game scheduled for the weekend.

After the weekend, hopefully, we will collect the maximum 6 points and hopefully climb the ladder to reach the top 8. We are really hungry and we really want to get the three points for us.

Last season was our first time, this is our second season in the First Division, the aim is clear - to collect maximum points - three today, three tomorrow against Black Africa, and obviously, the challenge for the title.

Sunday's fixtures will see the team from the Hardap region facing off against Black Africa, while Ramblers will play against Date Eleven from the South.

In the end, the Windhoek-based team Ramblers managed to defeat Mariental FC by 2 goals to 1 at home.
