Namibia's number one goalkeeper Lloyd Kazapua, who plies his trade in South Africa's top-tier league, the DSTV Premiership for Chippa United, is back in the country on recess.

He reflected on the recently concluded season where his team finished 12th out of 16 teams.Despite losing his number one spot in Chippa United's starting lineup to his Nigerian counterpart Stanley Nwabali, the 35-year-old Kazapua described it as a setback; however, it serves as motivation to work hard in the upcoming season. Counting as one of the senior national team players retained by coach Collin Benjamin from his African Cup of Nations showpiece squad, which competed in Ivory Coast, the charismatic shot-stopper Kazapua joined the squad ahead of the World Cup Qualifier games against Liberia and Tunisia.The Namibian international had a stellar performance at this year's Africa Cup of Nations tournament, helping the Brave Warriors reach the Round of 16 stage for the first time.
