The fourth leg of the Namibian National Motocross Championship took place on Saturday at the Swakopmund MX track.

Despite the windy conditions at the coast, the day's racing once again delivered high-energy action, featuring top riders from across Namibia.

The Swakopmund track is renowned for its challenging layout, featuring a mix of sand, dirt, jumps, and tight corners.

The track was designed to test the riders' technical skills and endurance.

Riders competed in three heats across the following classes: MX 50 CC, Women's MX, Clubmans, MX 65 CC, MX 85 CC, MX 125 CC (juniors and seniors), and in the Vets and Open classes.

The day's racing concluded with the King of the Dirt event.

Carter Bouwer won the 50 CC class with 96 points, while De Wet du Plessis won the 65 CC class with 68 points.

The Class 85 CC was won by Khian Kotze with 75 points, and Juan de Vos was crowned champion of the 125 CC Juniors with 72 points.

The 125 CC s Senior Class title went to Dale Davies with 40 points, while the Women's MX Class was won by Zoe Waldshmidt with 72 points.

The Clubman class was won by Thimo Martins with 69 points, with the Open Class going to Mark Sternagel, who won with 75 points, and the Vets Class overall title went to Martin Kruger with 75 points.

The King of the Dirt race was won by Mark Sternagel.

The Swakopmund leg once again saw strong local participation, showcasing the talent of Namibian riders.

It also serves as an important platform for young and upcoming riders to compete at a national level.
