The two-day Winter Cup concluded over the weekend , with Hustlers winning the top honors against a resilient Stop 'n Shop on penalties after a 1-all draw.

Themed the Winter Cup, the tournament hosted 10 teams from around the city.

A resilient Stop 'n Shop team fell short against their opponents, the Hustlers, after fighting back to level the score from one-nil to one-all midway into the second half.

Despite the loss, the team captain is proud of his team.

Hustlers captain Gideon Paulus complimented Stop 'n Shop's bravery in the finals.

Nelson Shipandeni, the organizer of the one-day Winter Cup competition, congratulated the winners.

Despite finishing as a semi-finalist after losing to eventual champion Hustlers, the co-founder of Madiba applauded the organizer for a well-organized competition.

The winners walked away with a trophy and gold medals, while the runners-up took home silver medals.

Nelson Shipandeni said that he expects to host another tournament in August this year.
