After attending a week-long CAF coaching refresher course to renew their licenses, which ranged from CAF A Pro, A, B, C, to D licenses, the participants have successfully completed their training, which ended in Windhoek yesterday.

eventeen of Namibia's top elite coaches participated in the course, which spanned over seven days.

The intensive training sessions were designed to update and enhance their coaching skills, ensuring they are equipped with the latest techniques and knowledge.

The course included a series of practical and theoretical modules, all led by CAF Elite Instructor Steve Coetsee, who emphasized the importance of continuous learning and adaptation in the ever-evolving world of football.

As the refresher course comes to a close, the coaches received their CAF certificates, marking a significant milestone in their professional development.

They expressed their satisfaction and eagerness to apply what they have learned to their respective teams. 

This initiative by the Namibian Football Association is seen as a significant step towards raising the standards of football coaching in the country, ultimately benefiting the players and the sport as a whole.

Only elite coaches were part of the course, which cost N$20,000 to attend.
