Despite playing with ten women for most of the second half, FC Ongos emerged victorious over Khomas Nampol Ladies, claiming the 2024 PstBet NFA Cup title with a 2-1 win.

The final of the 2024 PstBet NFA Cup pitted FNB Women Super League champions FC Ongos Ladies against Khomas Nampol Ladies.

A goalless first half at Independence Stadium saw few clear-cut chances, with Ongos squandering opportunities and Nampol's Metusho Shivikua denied by FC Ongos goalkeeper Agnes Kauzuu.

The second half brought increased intensity, as substitute Ivonne Kooper made her return from injury for Ongos.

Memory Ngonda broke the deadlock in the 66th minute, capitalizing on a pass from Kooper.

However, Ongos were reduced to ten players when Kooper was sent off for a deliberate handball on the goal line four minutes later.

Ndapewa Katuta converted the resulting penalty to level the score for Nampol in the 71st minute.

Undeterred by their numerical disadvantage, Ongos continued to press forward and dominated possession.

In extra time, Julia Ruatjindo scored the winning goal from Thomalina Adams' cross, securing a 2-1 victory for Shama Gure's side.

Nampol's Martha Haufiku had late chances to equalize, but Ongos held on to claim their second trophy of the season.

Khomas Nampol Ladies coach Novata Paulus shared her thoughts on the defeat.

Beauties FC defeated Nust Babes 3-0 to claim third place.
