The Namibia Training Authority (NTA) aims to establish formal technical vocational education and training (TVET) systems in its endeavour to address the issue of unemployment.

It is against this backdrop that NTA, in partnership with GIZ, held a regional stakeholder consultation meeting for developing pathways for the TVET sector in the country at Keetmanshoop.

Key stakeholders, including traditional and church leaders, youth associations, financial institutions, youth associations, tertiary institutions, SMEs, and the general public, attended the stakeholders' consultative meeting.

Also speaking at the consultative meeting, ||Kharas Governor Aletha Frederick says the significance of establishing formal pathways and articulations within the TVET sector cannot be overstated.
