Tributes have poured in for legendary Namibian striker Fillemon "Kaskas" Angula, who passed away on August 5th, 2024. 

The former Brave Warriors, Oshakati City, Blue Waters, and Civics goal machine was celebrated for his exceptional talent and character.

Prominent figures in Namibian football have expressed their condolences to the Angula family and shared their memories of the beloved striker.

Former Brave Warriors coach Rusten Mogane, who worked with Kaskas in 1997 and 1998, described him as a remarkable individual both on and off the pitch.

Former sports journalists Carlos Kambaekwa and Conrad Angula praised Kaskas' exceptional talent and personality. They highlighted his aerial ability as a standout characteristic.

Henrico Botes, a former teammate, also shared heartfelt tributes to the late striker.

Beyond his playing career, Kaskas made significant contributions to the development of young football talent through coaching.
