Ongos Ladies are intensifying their preparations for the CAF Women's Champions League COSAFA 2024 qualifiers in Blantyre, Malawi. 

The team has been engaging in pre-season matches against male counterparts to enhance their training regimen.

Following successful friendly matches against Khomas Nampol and Ramblers, both from the Women's Super League, Ongos faced the Dama Football Academy Under-17 boys' team today.

The assistant coach shared his insights on the match and the impact of new squad members.

A member of the 2021 squad that participated in the tournament and ever present in the team defender Lydiana Nanamus discussed their preparations for the upcoming tournament.

Despite previously competing as Tura Magic in the inaugural 2021 tournament, Ongos Ladies are determined to improve their performance this year. 

The team will play one last friendly match before heading to Malawi for the qualifiers, which takes place from August 15 to 24.

As reigning champions of the First National Bank Women's Super League, Ongos Ladies are eager to make their mark on the continental stage.
