The Ritja Career Fair Foundation, in collaboration with the Miss Namibia Organisation, engaged learners in the Omaheke Region on the importance of career guidance that will eventually assist them in choosing wisely.

The information officer at the foundation, Kendjitarisee Kandinda, pointed out that it's high time that stakeholders find ways to assist learners, especially in rural areas, on the importance of education and to expose them to different fields of study.

Kandinda says that a lack of discipline and commitment is one of the key areas that needs special attention.

Georgia Garises, the 2nd runner-up for Miss Namibia, says one of her objectives is to share with young people the importance of education, hence her participation at the event.

The weeklong career guidance seminar saw a team of motivational speakers visit various schools in the Omaheke Region.
