This year's Oktoberfest organisers are promising another exhilarating experience.
The festival aims to bring families from all walks of life together to create lasting memories.
The festival, which is in its 64th year, has grown over the years from hundreds to thousands of attendees.
Last year alone, they attracted 7,000 people.
This year's festival will feature the return of the Munich-based Kirchdorfer band and the well-known dancers, the Schuplattler.
There will be a line-up of local performers to add a local flavour.
"The main aim is to bring people together, families together, and celebrate a little bit of tradition, German tradition, but we are being diverse now because we want everyone to take part."
Festivalgoers can further look forward to various food stalls with different cuisines, family activities, and various games.
Beer will once again be a highlight, serving the traditional fest beer brewed exclusively by Namibia Breweries Limited.
"The roots are German, but there is now a Namibian context to it. It's open to everyone and diversified; we have all kinds of music, not only traditional but contemporary, so it is open to everyone."
The festival is scheduled to take place from the 25th to the 26th of October in Windhoek; tickets can be purchased at all Pick and Pay outlets or web tickets.
