The just-ended Film Week has unified Namibian filmmakers and fostered collaborations.
Filmmakers unwound and reflected on the week during a closing ceremony in Windhoek.
The week was filled with insightful workshops, master classes, panel discussions, distribution strategies, and income-generation methods.
They further delved into the business of filmmaking with efforts to drive sustainability and establish an industry that provides employment.
The Filmmakers Association of Namibia, since its revival this year with new active industry players, has been making a significant impact in the industry.
The association played a major role in seeing the film week realised.
The programme also included the screening of Namibian films at Ster-Kinekor, with the film 'Walvis Tale' chosen as the viewers' choice and awarded during the closing ceremony.
