The Namibian Correctional Services (NCS) celebrated their third consecutive Netball Premier League title after a gripping final in Otjiwarongo over the weekend.

Facing off against Nampol, NCS secured a 34-27 victory in a match that showcased their skill and determination.

A total of twelve teams competed for the top three positions in the league, with Navy from Walvis Bay finishing as runners-up after a solid performance against Unam Jaguar, winning 42-26. Mighty Gunners claimed third place following a draw with Tigers, ending the match at 41 goals each.

The NCS coach expressed pride in the team's achievements, highlighting their consistent performance throughout the season. Elmarien Hoeses, a standout player, reflected on her commitment and hard work, which played a crucial role in the team's success.

As the Premier League wraps up, attention turns to the first division, which will conclude this weekend at the Wanderers Netball Court, shifting from its originally scheduled venue at the Patrick Iiyambo Netball Court.
