A middle-aged man committed suicide this afternoon in the Tobias Hainyeko Constituency in Ombili.

The man allegedly came to Windhoek from the Oshikoto Region for a job interview and was living with a friend.

He allegedly sent the friend to the nearby shops to buy food. The friend, however, could not buy the food as he had been given the wrong pin and was unable to withdraw the money. On his return, he found his friend hanging from the roof.

Police investigation into the matter continues.
