President Nangolo Mbumba has expressed confidence in the Swapo Party's presidential candidate, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, who could become the first female president of Namibia.

Dr. Mbumba asserts that the party's leadership is capable of achieving the second struggle for economic emancipation for all.

While addressing the crowd, Dr. Mbumba revealed a plan for natural resource development from which all Namibians across all 14 regions of the country will benefit.

The President stated that the party's manifesto sets out concrete policies that will ensure that the current and future generations' futures are secured.

This will be done through the processing of raw materials and value addition that will result in job creation and business opportunities.

He also emphasised training the youth, who are the majority population, to contribute to the development of the country while also giving adequate support to small and medium enterprises.

He added the Swapo Party has a track record of governance, and its achievements speak for themselves.
