China and Namibia are co-hosting a business networking platform to celebrate the development of business partnerships between local and Chinese investors and enterprises operating in Namibia.

The country's rich abundance of resources has created vast investment opportunities.

In light of this, the Chinese Embassy organized a China-Namibia Business Networking event in the capital.

Chinese Ambassador to Namibia Zhao Weiping highlighted the increase in bilateral trade between the two countries and noted that many Namibian companies are seeking investment from Chinese investors.

He emphasized that China has opened its doors to Namibia in an effort to foster continued investment in the country's business sector.

Charity Mwiya, Managing Director of One Accord Investments and Namibian Business Representative, stated that both countries should collaborate across all sectors rather than focusing solely on the green hydrogen sector.

She reminded attendees not to overlook the sectors that have shaped the Namibian business environment as it exists today.
