The Gobabis Vocational Training Centre (GVTC) Acting Manager Albius Muchali maintained that empowering youth with hands-on skills will lay a formidable foundation for their future.

Muchali made this remark at the 1st ever Gobabis Vocational Training Centre, trainee fashion show.

Muchali said there is a need to change the mindset of young people towards vocational training and see opportunities available in the sector. 

He said with the right training, young people will learn to transform challenging tasks into beautiful creations that will change their lives.

The acting head said with a combination of traditional skills and emerging technology, the graduates are ready to transform the industry.

The centre also offers leather design, manufacturing, welding, metal fabrication, automotive mechatronics, office administration, air conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical general.
