The National Democratic Party (NDP) held a victory celebration today at Katima Mulilo after the party secured a seat in the National Assembly in the November national elections.

When the doors of the National Assembly open next year, Martin Lukato will be among the MPs who will take up their seats.

Political analysts earlier said the victory of the NDP, let alone Lukato, came from a man of a spirit of no surrender, judging from a number of people who always turned up at his campaigns.

It was that resilience that the victory party was born and held.

He thanked those who stood by him in any way and propelled the party to the National Assembly.
