Ex-combatants of the Peoples Liberation Army of Namibia (PLAN) paid homage to their former Commander at the Nujoma residence in Windhoek.
The ex-combatants filled the atmosphere with music about the liberation struggle when the late Dr. Sam Nujoma was at the forefront during their fight for independence.
Former Plan Combatant, Sinsy Nghipandua, shared his sorrow with the nbc News on behalf of the former PLAN members.
The Instructor of the Ndilimani Cultural Group also shared his experiences with the Founding President.
The group was created under the supervision of Dr. Sam Nujoma and led by Haipinge Tsoubaloko.
He led the group from 1985 to 1998, travelling to many countries, and spreading Namibia's story to a global audience to raise money for the struggle.
