As regional memorial services conclude, the remains of the late Founding President will depart from Keetmanshoop to arrive at the Hosea Kutako International Airport at 06:00 on Thursday morning.
A procession will be held from there, through the streets of Windhoek and the government is appealing to the public not to get in the way of the procession, but to wave or salute as the procession passes by.
The body of the late President will lie in state at Parliament Gardens to allow the public to pay their last respects.
The viewing will start from half past four in the afternoon until half past eleven in the next morning.
