The Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) has reminded all pensioners, children, and spousal beneficiaries to complete their biometric verification, namely proof of life, by 30 June to ensure uninterrupted benefit payments.
Members can verify at GIPF offices or use the GIPF Mobile Verification App for convenience. GIPF warns that payments will be suspended for those who fail to verify after the deadline.
The Biometric Verification System, launched in October last year, enhances efficiency and ensures benefits go to rightful recipients.
While some may face challenges with in-person verification, digital tools streamline the process and support the Fund's long-term sustainability.
Pensioners are urged to comply promptly to avoid disruptions in their payments.
