Namibia's senior women's team says they have seen significant improvement since being contracted a year ago.

The Capricorn Eagles have been working hard to improve their world ranking over the past few years.

However, since last year, that effort has intensified, with 15 players contracted by Cricket Namibia.

As Namibia prepares for its upcoming series in Uganda, head coach Francois van der Merwe expressed his satisfaction with the progress made in the women's game over the past year.

The players also shared their excitement about their current journey and the bright future ahead for the next generation of Namibian cricketers.

The Capricorn Eagles will have their official send-off before departing for Uganda, where they will compete against the hosts, Uganda, as well as Nepal and Hong Kong from March 8 to 16.
