AC Boxing Promotions held a press briefing at the Palm Hotel, where they unveiled the fight card and introduced a new signing for their upcoming boxing bonanza.
The AC Promotions Boxing Bonanza, held under the theme "In Honor of the Founding Father, His Excellency Dr. Sam Nujoma," is set to take place on March 29th at the Roman Catholic Hall, starting at 19:00.
During the press conference, promoter Imms Moses announced the return of Harry Simon Jr. to AC Promotions. Simon Jr. first began training under Moses in 2017 with Sunshine Boxing.
However, after Moses left to start his own boxing academy, Simon Jr. continued with Sunshine until his contract expired in 2021. He then briefly joined AC Promotions for nearly a year before parting ways.
Now, he makes his highly anticipated return to AC Promotions and is set to face Zimbabwean Tranos Zihove. However, the boxer has chosen to keep the details of his new contract private.
Meanwhile, Charles Shinima, who recently fought in South Africa earlier this month, will step back into the ring against Malawian Dickson Saidi.
With only two weeks separating his last fight from this one, Shinima says he is mentally prepared.
In the same breath, Walter Kautondokwa is also set for a comeback and will face Zimbabwean Liberty Muwani.
He stated that he has remained active in the gym and is ready to deliver a dominant performance.
After failing to secure a fight against Jeremiah Nakathila, Flame Nangolo will now face Ghanaian Felix Ajoma.
Nangolo recently spent a month training at a Las Vegas boxing camp and believes this experience gives him an advantage.
As the boxing bonanza approaches, ticket prices have been announced. General Admission: N$300, while VIP Tables for 10 are priced at N$15,000. With nine thrilling bouts on the card, fight fans can expect an electrifying evening of boxing action.
