Para swimmer Keila De Oliveira and her coach, Diego Kahlari, have recently returned from Spain after competing at the Para Swimming World Series in Barcelona. 

They took some time to reflect on their experiences and share their journey.

Keila De Oliveira and her coach participated in the Para Swimming World Series, which took place from March 20 to 23, 2025.

De Oliveira reflected on the challenges she faced and how she overcame them during the competition.

Looking ahead, De Oliveira expressed her hope to represent Namibia again in four years. 

She also took a moment to thank her family and friends for their unwavering support throughout the event.

This competition marked De Oliveira's international debut at a global event, where she proudly represented the Namibia Paralympic Committee.

Coach Diego Kahlari shared that the event was an eye-opener for both of them, providing valuable insights and experiences.

Kahlari also encouraged those aspiring to pursue a career in swimming to take the leap of faith and believe in their potential.

Looking forward, their focus is now on preparing for upcoming events and continuing to build on their progress.
