The Namibian government is set to transform sport into a driver of economic growth, with plans to build new stadiums, youth centres, and invest N$200 million in grassroots facilities.

The move aims to professionalize sport and create more opportunities for youth employment and development.

This was highlighted by President Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah in her maiden State of the Nation Address.
