The 2025 National Congress of the Namibia Association of People with Physical Disabilities (NAPPD) is taking place in Swakopmund, uniting individuals with physical disabilities, advocates, government representatives, and various stakeholders.
The purpose of the gathering is to reflect on progress, share ideas, and elect new national leaders to guide the Association for the upcoming term.
This year's theme highlights the significance of inclusive development, leadership renewal, and the enhancement of community-based support systems for individuals with physical disabilities.
Furthermore, the Congress provides a platform to review and amend organisational policies and the constitution, discuss regional reports, outline strategies for 2025–2028, and elect a new National Executive Committee. Delegates will also concentrate on strengthening collaboration with government, civil society, and donors. The event runs from June 9th to June 11th.
