President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has returned from Luanda, Angola, where she participated in the 17th U.S.-Africa Business Summit. 

During the summit, the President engaged in bilateral discussions, participated in panel discussions, and promoted investment in Namibia, advocating for a balanced partnership between the government and the private sector. 

Upon her return, she spoke to NBC News about the focus of the discussions, which centered on strengthening cooperation and unity among African nations when engaging with the outside world. She also highlighted the need for agreements to ensure that Africa's natural resources are processed and add value before exportation.
