Namibia will officially launch trading under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) at a high-level event scheduled for Monday, 30 June 2025, in Walvis Bay.

The event, hosted by the Ministry of International Relations and Trade, will bring together senior government officials, trade experts, and private sector representatives to mark Namibia's entry into the AfCFTA market.

The keynote address will be delivered by the Minister of International Relations and Trade, Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, with remarks expected from the AfCFTA Secretariat.
