In the heart of the Okahandja Park informal settlement in Katutura, a safe haven is giving hope to children in the community.
Local resident Albertina Eises is offering afternoon classes, day care, and meals to children in the area, creating a nurturing space where they can learn, play, and grow.
Although she charges a small fee for the daycare, most parents cannot afford it, so she relies on donations to maintain the kindergarten.
During morning hours, they sit on the cold floor, and recently, a good Samaritan donated blankets.
Eises needs chairs, cooking utensils, and learning materials for the children.
