The MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias Boxing & Fitness Academy has officially announced the highly anticipated boxing event titled "Road to the World Title", set to take place on August 9, 2025, at the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino.

Namibian boxing sensation Fillipus Nghitumbwa, popularly known as 'Energy', is set to headline the main event.

He will square off against the undefeated Mxolisi Zuma from South Africa for the prestigious WBO Global Super Bantamweight Title.

According to his promoter, Nestor Tobias, the World Boxing Organisation has officially sanctioned the bout, recognising Nghitumbwa's relentless pursuit of a world championship title.

Nghitumbwa brings an impressive record to the ring – 14 wins out of 16 fights, with just 2 losses. He is currently ranked in the top 15 by both the WBO and WBC.

His opponent, however, is a force to be reckoned with.

Mxolisi Zuma, hailing from KwaZulu-Natal, enters the ring with a perfect record 10 wins, all by knockout.

The big question: Can Zuma maintain his undefeated streak, or will he fall to one of the most feared fighters in the super bantamweight division?
