The Harold Pupkewitz Graduate School of Business, in collaboration with Tulip Media Consultancy, is conducting the second Annual Namibia Marketing Renaissance Conference.
The conference uncovers the latest developments in digital transformation, delivering strategies that will enable brands to thrive in a digitally dominant world.
The conference brought together marketing professionals and technology experts to explore the transformative impact of technology on modern marketing.
The CEO of Tulip Media Consultancy, Albertina Malwa, says that this year's focus takes a turn towards the evolving world of marketing.
She emphasised that the aim is to unpack the latest tools and trends driving the modern marketing landscape.
"For this year we decided to narrow it down a bit and just focus on the digital or modern aspect of marketing. So really what you are trying to do this year is to understand the new tools when it comes to digital marketing. What are some of those tools that institutions as well as individuals are making use of in order to market their products and just create awareness about their campaigns? So there is quite a lot that is happening, but if we are to look at the landscape of Namibia, mainly if you are looking at digital marketing, obviously with most institutions you will find that the focus is mainly on social media."
The conference creates a space to exchange knowledge and partnerships with the private sector to provide the relevant skills for modern marketing.
Senior Business Development Coordinator at Harold Pupkewitz Graduate School, Helena Shipanga, said, "The marketing landscape is moving very fast; it's changing and forever evolving, and as an institution that is responsible for building leadership, it's very important to make sure that we provide the relevant skills that leaders need when it comes to the area of marketing. That is why we collaborated with the private sector. We teach and learn, and the private sector implements, and once they implement, they flow; the information flows back to us so that we can make sure that our curriculum is on par with what is needed in the market."
This initiative strives for a transformational shift—one that redefines how businesses connect with their audiences and how professionals must continuously adapt to stay relevant.
