Deputy Prime Minister Natangwe Ithete is pleased with the transformation of the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair (OATF), which he witnessed from the infancy stage.
Ithete said the organisers have made commendable strides in ensuring that the fair remains an exhibition ground for small, medium, and large businesses.
"Trade fairs are drivers of industrialisation and transformation; they expose, promote and coordinate value-added products with market partners and entrepreneurs to showcase not just raw goods but proudly Namibian products with high value. Strong brand and better price. Furthermore, it builds confidence in Namibian products and goods, thereby creating demand at home and abroad."
Oshana Governor Hofni Ipinge called on participants to make use of the various trade and networking opportunities to become more competitive.
"We take pride in not only being a hub of commerce, governance and commerce but also a place where culture, innovation and enterprise converge. It is also important that Ongwediva, located at the heart of the region, continues to host this important trade and investment platform."
