The "Win a Car" competition, a fundraising initiative to support the Brave Warriors' World Cup qualification journey, officially opened on July 10 and closed on August 31.

With the Brave Warriors set to face Malawi this Friday and São Tomé and Príncipe shortly after, the team is focused on securing their spot in the next stage.

"It is important that we get through the two games," a representative said. "Once we do, it means our World Cup qualification dream is still alive. Once that is achieved, we will be able to continue this campaign, knock on more doors, and secure more funds for the final two games."

To ensure fairness, the competition used an independent aggregator, DMS, for all SMS entries.

"We are now accessing their system to conduct a live draw," a representative explained, emphasizing the transparent process.

The grand prize, a brand-new Toyota Starlet, was won by Victorina from Grootfontein. The competition not only brought excitement to fans but also showed the collective effort of Namibians rallying behind their national team in their quest for a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
